Clayton State University Morrow, GA
Division of External Relations, Vice President
--Responsible for supervising and coordinating all fund raising,
marketing, web communications, publications, media relations and
constituency relations. Duties included oversight of Clayton
State's Foundation Board activities.

--First strategic fund raising plan for the University focused
on raising a minimum of $10.5 million

--WSB-TV commercial reaching over 500,000 constituents

Spelman College Atlanta, GA Division of Institutional
Advancement Corporate, Foundation and Major Gifts Office
Director.
Responsible for securing funds in support of scholarships,
technology, capital improvement, arts museum, academic units,
leadership and the endowment. Managed seven member team.

--Raised $15 million in support from individuals, corporations,
and foundations
--Created a fund development action plan targeting individuals
for $150 million capital campaign
--Managed the Corporate Partnership Program consisting of 60
national and international companies
--Coordinated the 2002 and 2003 Corporate Partnership Annual

Development Department -Chief Development Officer Responsible
for securing capital, operational and programmatic funding from
foundations, governments, corporations, non-profits and
individuals. Managed annual and major gifts functions including
donor prospecting and research, transformational gifts and
annual appeals. Managed a three member team.
